I was born and raised in Enkhuizen, a small fishing town in the Netherlands, with a little Volendam blood running through my veins.

From an early age, I knew how much I enjoyed connecting with people.My favourite pastime? Travelling across the country with smoked eel and salmon under my arm, visiting fish wholesalers and seafood businesses door to door. The personal contact, the trading, and the smile of a satisfied customer made it the most rewarding job I could imagine.

Our family business grew from a small smoked eel and salmon shop into a fully established fish restaurant. Today, my son proudly runs the business as the third generation. Entrepreneurship clearly runs in our family.After moving to Spain, it would have been easy to return to the hospitality industry. However, I felt it was time for a new challenge.

I found that challenge at Engel & Völkers, where I learned the ins and outs of the real estate profession and discovered how rewarding it is to guide people through one of the most important decisions of their lives. Shortly after joining Engel & Völkers, I realised that my values and approach as a real estate agent were different. I don't believe in completing as many transactions as possible. Instead, I believe in personal attention, honest advice, complete transparency, and guiding my clients from our very first conversation all the way to handing over the keys. That vision did not fully align with the way I wanted to work.

That was the moment I decided to follow my own path and establish TriSolVa Homes. Today, I also hold the officially recognised Spanish diploma "De Agente Inmobiliario" (AG-S3805), allowing me to officially assist my clients as a fully qualified real estate agent in Spain.

What motivates me every single day is not simply selling a property, but finding the one home that truly matches my client's wishes. Listening carefully, thinking alongside my clients, providing honest advice, and continuing the search until we discover that hidden gem together.

That is the strength of TriSolVa Homes: personal guidance without pressure or haste. Simply the way I would like to be treated myself.

The name TriSolVa Homes stands for everything I believe in:

Tri – the triangle of Alhaurin, Nerja, and Estepona

Sol – the Spanish sun, the symbol of the Costa del Sol

Va – the energy of VAMOS “let's go for it!” (or simply Vacation...)
